ah nice this one's good. i din't realize the idol/idle connection until now. ya tv is pretty boring, mostly. i don't get why people like Am-Idol. it makes me nauseous!
I like how you put "of silence" on the next line instead of with "moment" because it creates this nice little pause that gives it an effect. I think it is interesting how you say you are alone even though you are with your family. It really is like you are alone when people are under the spell of tv. I never realized how it really is like a different world until I stopped watching tv this year. Idolizing idle things as if they are Jesus is really weird.
@ charlie: yeah i've never watched it haha... i don't like it though... i don't watch much tv
@ dan: well, it's possible to feel alone even with family- except i was actually alone, my family hadn't gotten back to the hotel room yet. lol
