when the desperate sunken breaths
begin to quell
and the
clenching freedom
is gone
i search my chest
cavity, for your exact definition
naive obsession
you are the apple
outside the garden
where do i lay my head in sadness
when i only have the warm crutch
the space between your shoulder blades
and the nape of your neck
i am defining love
tonight
holding you close
how do i scribble at small punctures
when i've only ever known a black hole

this one i can't figure out really, sorry :(
i'm pretty sure i have a general idea of it but it's hard to figure out what you mean in parts
mkay i'll edit it
well i just changed it a bit, but in the poem i'm questioning how i can effectively write about love when i already have it...
sometimes it seems easier to write about things you don't have, because it gives your writing... perfect desperation.
the title "you used to be forbidden fruit" is the same idea as i said, that you want things you can't have, and when you have them, you're clueless because you can't even believe you have it... confusion, confusion, etc.
I had an epiphany XD
Almost all of your poems are sad and that is where you get a lot of your writing talent, but you are not sad anymore. You are complete, so don't really have a reason to write anything because you don't want anything else.
Strangely enough, happiness works against you in writing. Then the lack of sadness becomes your new sadness to write about. That gives your poems a bitter-sweet tone.
I am such a pro creeper XD
